Last year I traveled across the country to be with a friend in need. things were hectic, and time was short. If we were going to balance the “bad” with the “beautiful” we had to stay open to opportunities as they unfolded. one evening afforded a quick trip to the beach.
Even though we had to be brief, we were able to revel in the majestic view before us and the tiny treasures at our feet.
