To me clouds often acquire an extra aura of fun in photos. The frozen moment in time defines their edges and shadows. Their whites are even crisper, and surrounding colors bloom. (Not the case with sunsets, to my ever. loving. frustration!)
If you’re looking for them, you might see angels in clouds …

Or, conversely you might see dragons.

All on the same day!

I have two goofball labs who love adventure. One day we visited a nearby reservoir when the water level was very low. Looking like an Ent cemetery or horror movie set, these ghost trees are left from logging days a hundred or so years ago.

Some glimmers are small, but this one is like a gigantic mural, just shouting out gorgeousness to behold. the blanket of white cotton! the pink petals scattered so unbelievably random yet perfectly placed by wind and gravity. life just being itself.
